Job Description

So, what are the main responsibilities of an Application Support Agent in Netcompany? 

You will be part of the application support team at the our client's team and be responsible for the support of the platform/systems which are multilingual online management tools which notifies, certifies, and monitors trade in animals, products of animal origin and feed and food of non-animal origin, as well as of plants, seeds and propagating material and animal disease.

As an Application Support Agent you will:

  • Support and ensure communication with the end-users according to the services procedures and in accordance with the agreed KPIs. 
  • Provide services to all stakeholders according to ITIL best practices, handling and documenting all requests and feedbacks. 
  • Analyze XML files, identify errors, research potential root causes, perform tests and report.
  • Configure reference data following pre-defined SOPs.
  • Keep internal knowledge up to date by documenting all relevant information.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Relevant education qualification and minimum 2 years of experience in IT end user assistance.
  • Knowledge of the XML and SOAP protocol with capacity to navigate technical logfiles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal in English.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems, Atlassian JIRA is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or HTML is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to perform weekend standby activities up to twice per month.
