Job Description

To support our continued and exciting growth we are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of the obsolescence programme. This role involves managing remediation activities, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the successful delivery of work packages in alignment with the established roadmap.

As a Delivery Manager you will be responsible for a team of talented consultants delivering a wide range of complex projects for our clients that deliver real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of the Programme Manager to deliver assigned work packages.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan with key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Ensure that obsolescence remediation activities (upgrades, migrations, decommissioning) are executed on time and within scope.
  • Track progress, report status updates, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external teams (IT, Security, Business Units) to ensure smooth execution of remediation plans.
  • Work with external vendors to facilitate support agreements, licensing changes, and hardware/software replacements.
  • Ensure alignment with business continuity and compliance requirements.
  • Identify operational risks related to obsolescence and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that remediation activities are executed without disrupting critical business operations.
  • Maintain a risk log and work with the Programme Manager to escalate and address major risks.
Qualifications
  • Deep domain knowledge of how public sector works
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure lifecycle or obsolescence projects.
  • Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Solid understanding of risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work within an established programme framework, ensuring adherence to governance structures.
  • Hold relevant security clearances
Additional Information
  • Must be reliable and flexible.
  • Hours of work will be between 08:00 - 18:00, with an 8-hour working day staggered across the 10-hour timeframe.
