This role supports the full life cycle of software development and includes the opportunity for hands-on coding. On the specific programme, we manage multiple service including both run and maintain activities as well as more transformative work by designing and developing new features. You will be working with a wide range of different technologies including Python, Typescript, React, Terraform, AWS, Github Action, AWS Serverless). We always use the most suitable technology for each project, giving you the opportunity to learn and work with different languages. 

Job Description

Must have extensive experience in Python, Terraform, AWS and leading teams.

We work with a wide range of different technologies including .Net, C#, Java, Salesforce, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Sitecore, ReactJS, Angular, Docker, Azure, Azure DevOps and Octopus. We always use the most suitable, and preferably the latest, technology for each project, giving you the opportunity to learn and work with many different languages.

  • Technical Lead for multiple services
  • Quality assurance and process optimisation
  • Leading a team of developers and projects from start to finish

  • System development - both front-end, back-end and integrations
  • Implementing customer requirements for the design of new features
  • Analysis, design, and quality assurance of the overall solution

Key Skills/Experience/ Qualification

Essential

  • Full-stack or backend technical background with experience with Python and typescript. 
  • Infrastructure experience with AWS serverless and IaC with Terraform.
  • A curiosity to explore new technologies
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle
  • Previous involvement in developing and delivering major IT solutions
  • An understanding of agile tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
  • Highly ambitious, wanting to excel in your career
  • Candidates MUST be willing to travel to client site anywhere in the UK when needed, and MUST have the right to work in the UK
