Internship in Application Security Engineering (Undergraduate students)

So, what are the main duties of an Intern in Cyber Security Engineering in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

Joining us as a an Intern in Cyber Security Engineering you will have the opportunity to  to be involved in the design and implementation of advanced Information Security Solutions. The Information Security Engineer intern is expected to support senior team members in activities related to the:

• Design of Cyber Security Solutions taking into consideration the existing IT infrastructure of various organizations, the industry's best practices and the state-of-the-art Technology
• Installation, configuration and support of Cyber Security systems that put into effect corporate Information Security policies of large European, Public and Private organizations
• Integration of Cyber Security systems to existing IT and network infrastructure.  
• Identification of security gaps and the provision of recommendations to remediate them
• Maintenance of the security level of networks, IT systems and SW Applications
• Administration of IT and network infrastructure (OSs, Virtualization, Cloud, DBs, network devices, etc) that support innovative Cyber Security solutions
• Documentation of Cyber Security solutions in both high-level blueprints and in low level designs. 

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Familiarity with computer networks (protocols, elements, way that networks and systems operate)
• Knowledge of information security basis terms, attack methods, current regulations, challenges
• Familiarity with cloud computing (basic major public clouds and their offerings, such as Microsoft Azure)
• Eligibility to attend an internship program through your university or academic institution
• Current student status at BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or other relevant fields

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

• Very good knowledge of the English language (written and oral)
• An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
